CEPA invites 25 young Ugandans for a three-day training under the SUPA Project to gain practical skills in designing policy evaluations, analysing evidence and communicating recommendations. Young researchers, students and emerging professionals are welcome. No prior policy evaluation experience is required. Women, persons with disabilities and applicants from underrepresented communities are particularly encouraged to apply. Complete the application form and submit your CV. Are you interested in research, public policy and how Uganda is governed? The Centre for Policy Analysis (CEPA) invites applications for the second cohort of its Research and Policy Fellowship. Building on the 2025/2026 cohort, this 12-month programme will bring together 10 Ugandans for practical training, mentorship and hands-on experience in research, policy analysis and democratic accountability. Fellows will examine current policy challenges, develop recommendations and share their work through policy briefs, research papers, public dialogues and CEPAโs platforms. They will also learn from researchers, policymakers, academics, journalists and civil society practitioners. We welcome applications from Ugandans aged 18 and above who are willing to learn and commit to the full programme. CEPA Workshop on Policy Development and Capacity Building
This workshop is intended to provide a practical conversation on policy development, institutional capacity building, and how these processes can strengthen evidence-based policy engagement. We are therefore pleased to invite you to join the session, which will be facilitated by Dr. Abubaker Mohammed Moki, former Commissioner for Policy Development and Capacity Building at the Cabinet Secretariat, Office of the President. His experience will offer valuable insights for CEPA and partners working within Ugandaโs policy space.
